CT Woman Charged with Felony Theft, Resisting
Merrimack Police arrest Latoya Ellis at the mall for allegedly stealing shoes with others.

Another day of shopping at the mall, another theft investigation, according to police.
This time, it’s Latoya Ellis, 21, of Hartford, CT, who was arrested on Sept. 12, 2015, and charged with theft by unauthorized taking and resisting detention.

According to police, Ellis was at the Merrimack Premium Outlets on Sept. 8, 2015, and allegedly took shoes from one of the stores. A warrant was issued for her arrest and she turned herself in four days after the incident. She was held on $5,000 cash bail and arraigned on Sept. 14.
“Police continue to investigate this incident and are attempting to identify others that are involved in the thefts,” according to Lt. Dan Edmonds of the Merrimack Police Department.
