If we stop borrowing and start to pay off the Federal debt as if we were paying off a new car we can pay off the debt in our lifetimes.
If we wait four more years… it will take a whole new generation to pay it off.
Paying off the debt seems achievable to me, I can give up a new car to keep my kids from paying off my loans when I’m gone.

Wouldn't you rather leave them a legacy rather than a loan to pay off. Current Debt will take the rest of our lives to pay off, 4 more years of 2011 borrowing might take another generation
