Damaged Kitchen Chairs Leads to Vandalism Charge

Kyle Maclean of Merrimack was arrested after a domestic incident on Hoyt Street.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local man will be in court next month after an alleged domestic disturbance in which kitchen chairs were reportedly damaged, according to police. Kyle Maclean, 26, of Hoyt Street in Merrimack, was arrested on Jan. 11, 2017, and charged with domestic violence-criminal mischief.

Police were sent to Hoyt Street at just before 1 p.m. for a report of a domestic disturbance. Arriving officers found out that two household members had been arguing and during the argument, Maclean allegedly damaged some kitchen chairs.

Maclean was arrested, transported to police headquarters, and processed. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Feb. 9.
