Deceased Person Found on the Daniel Webster Highway

Breaking: Merrimack Fire and Rescue teams and police are investigating a person found on the side of the road this morning.

MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack Police and fire and rescue teams were sent this morning to the Daniel Webster Highway for a report of a body found on the site of the road. First responders were called to the area of 130 Daniel Webster Highway at around 7:30 a.m. on March 6, 2018, according to the InfoNH Facebook site. The site noted that the area was not closed off by crime scene tape.

Pictures from the scene show a vehicle parked on the site of the road and a body, near some trees, covered with a tarp.

Other specific information is not available at post time although the state’s medical examiner has been requested at the scene.
