Dennis Hogan Files for Re-Election

County Attorney seeking your votes in 2012 primary.

Hillsborough County Attorney Dennis Hogan announced his campaign for re-election when he filed with the Secretary of State on June 11.

Hogan has presided  over a six percent reduction in the County Attorney’s budget and a significant increase in felony cases. “We have handled the increase in cases per prosecutor by attracting superior talent,” Hogan said.  “As the head of the agency, I don’t concern myself with taking credit.  There is plenty of credit to go around when the job is getting done right and the job is getting done right.”

Hogan first won election to the office of Hillsborough County Attorney in 2010 when he received 53 percent of the vote in a three person contest.
