Don't Wait for Election Day, Register to Vote Now!

There are six upcoming voter registration sessions with the supervisors of the checklist.

The Merrimack Supervisors of the Checklist will hold six voter registration sessions at the Town Clerk's Office in Town Hall this month.

Merrimack residents are invited to register for the November election:

  • Thursday, Oct. 11, 7-8 p.m.
  • Monday-Thursday, Oct. 22-25, 7-8 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 27 10:30 a.m.-noon

In order to participate in local or state elections and meetings, you must be
registered to vote. You must register to vote in person and may register to vote at the Town Clerk’s Office or at the polls on an election (not meeting) day. You must be 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen, and domiciled in the town. You must present proof of age, I.D., domicile and citizenship.

If you are unable to produce any of these items, you may fill out an affidavit. You may register to vote immediately after establishing a domicile in the town.

Voter registration applications may be completed at the Town Clerk's office during our normal business hours of 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Once completed, the application is forwarded to the Supervisors of the Checklist, who will need to accept the application before you are considered a registered voter.
