Drapoel Wins Readers Choice for Best Salon

The votes have been counted and the winner of the first week of our small business tournament is

Congratulations to Drapoel, who moves on to the second round of the tournament, beginning on May 21 when the salon will be pitted against two other winners from the first round.

Drapoel Salon & Boutique is located at 634 Daniel Webster Highway that anchors a small plaza. The funky and ecclectic boutique offers a full menu of hair an nail services as well as massage, make up and waxing services.

In all, 12 first-round winners will be crowned. Those 12 businesses will then compete in four rounds of three winners each to bring it down to our Patch-tastic Four businesses.

Those four will be split into two head-to-head competitions and the final two will then go head to head in the championship.

When all is said and done, Patch will have crowned the winner of it's first small business tournament.

Next week we will ask you to vote for your favorite marshal arts school. Voting will begin on Monday and end on Friday at 9 a.m.
