Earth Day Helpers Plant Flowers, Collect Trash

Sunday, April 22, Merrimack Friends & Family celebrated Earth Day at Kids Kove. Laura Moran, service co-chairwoman of Friends and Family, helped organized volunteers to help clean up the park. The volunteers spent the day planting beautiful annuals around the sign and picking up six bags of garbage throughout the park.  Kids Kove is brighter, thanks to the fantastic effort of the Merrimack Friends and Family volunteers!   

The Parks and Recreation Department would like to send its thanks and appreciation to the Merrimack Friends and Family volunteers, who worked so hard to get Kids Kove ready for spring and summer. Thank you Laura Moran, Diane Wolfe, Nina Dahl, Sue Geyer, Nicolle Souza, Jocelyn Moran and Jared Moran for taking the time to help keep the park clean!
