Elderly Man Charged with Numerous Counts of Sexual Assault
Merrimack Police: Morse is accused of sexual contact with a juvenile during a period of several years.
A local man was arrested yesterday on numerous counts of sexual assault, according to Merrimack Police.
David S. Morse, 72, of Highland Green in Merrimack, was arrested on July 21, and charged with three counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault and two counts of felonious sexual assault.
He was held on $100,000 cash bail and arraigned today.

According to a press statement from Lt. Denise Roy of the Merrimack Police Department, the investigation into Morse began after police received a report that he had "sexual contact with a juvenile under the age of 13 years" during the course of several years.
"Police are still investigating Morse," Roy noted. "Additional charges may be forthcoming."
