Soon it will be July 4th and although the beach is a great place to be in July, nothing beats Merrimack on the 4th of July.
Over the years years the Merrimack 4th of July celebration has grown into a huge event, complete with the parade, midway, road races, contests, pancake breakfast, concerts, fireworks and the list gets longer year after year. The Merrimack Rotary and the town of Merrimack combine to put on the best "Town" Independence day celebration in New England . That's a big claim but if you have attended the event in the last couple of years I think you will nod your head in agreement.
We hope citizens enjoy the result of the hard work of the Merrimack Rotary and town staff in the coming days and we ask you to save the date of September 28th for another Merrimack event "The Fall Festival "which includes the Business Expo during the day and "Merrimack Rocks in the evening.
