This group will read short chapter books that bridge the gap between the Beginner Book Group's picture books and the Family Books Group's longer books. Parent and child read the book at home then join others to discuss it, do a craft and have a snack. This month's book is The Hidden Stairs and the Magic Carpet from The Secrets of Droon series by Tony Abbott. Extra copies are available in the Children's Room. This program is open to Merrimack Library cardholders.
