The Advanced Beginners' Book Group is for children ages 6-8. This group will read short chapter books that bridge the gap between the Beginner Book Group's picture books and the Family Books Group's longer books. Parent and child read the book at home then join others to discuss it, do a craft and have a snack. This month's book is Dumpling Soup by Jama Kim Rattigan. Extra copies are available in the Children's Room. Registration is required. This program is open to Merrimack Library cardholders.
