Isadore and Lucille Zimmerman often hosted musical evenings at their home. Twilight Tours allow visitors a chance to enjoy the house in the same way. Come experience the exceptional acoustics of the home with a live performance in the Garden Room as the sun begins to set. Twilight Tours at the Zimmerman House include museum admission and a beverage of choice from the Winter Garden Cafe. The cost is $20 for museum members and $30 for non-members.
Built in 1950, the Zimmerman House is the only Frank Lloyd Wright-designed home open to the public in New England; it is also one of only a few Wright buildings owned and operated by an art museum.

Wright (1867-1959) designed the house, the interiors, all the furniture, the gardens, and even the mailbox. In 1979 the building was listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Dr. and Mrs. Zimmerman left the property to the Currier Museum of Art in 1988. In 1990 the house and grounds were opened so that visitors could enjoy glimpses of a private world from the 1950s and 1960s, including the Zimmermans’ personal collection of modern art, pottery and sculpture.
