Jazz First in Concert

Jazz First is comprised of Joe Whalen on piano, Chris Guild on bass, and Dave Morin on drums. For this performance, the trio will be joined by vocalist Debbie Nordyke. Jazz First believes that the great American songs of the early-to-mid 20^th century should be preserved. Their repertoire consists of jazz versions of the works of Cole Porter, the Gershwins, Richard Rodgers, Billy Strayhorn, and other musical giants. Jazz First appeared at the Merrimack Library last spring, and the enthusiastic audience response has prompted this return engagement.
