Parent/Teacher Workshop: Making My Mark

Writing helps children develop an awareness of how print is organized and used and how it is related to spoken words. Learn how you can support children's growth from the stages of early scribbling to learning to write their name. The program is free and open to parents of children from Birth to pre-Kindergarten, preschool teachers and teens interested in working with preschoolers. All materials provided along with refreshments and door prizes!

Space is limited and for planning purposes registration is required. A minimum of 6 registrants are required to hold this workshop.

This workshop is based on the Bonding with Books workshop from the NH Parent Information and Resource Center (NH PIRC), a US Department of Education-funded program. NH PIRC’s mission is to support student academic achievement by increasing parental involvement in children’s education and promoting school-family-community partnerships.
