Fall athletes return to the Independent Karate School

The days are getting short, the trees are looking bare, and the Halloween candy is on sale for cheap. . . it must be time for the kids who play fall sports to return to the Independent Karate School.

Most kids who have the energy to study martial arts also apply that energy to other things.  Students at the Independent Karate School are involved in everything from jazz band to robotics, and we are very proud of all their accomplishments.  Not surprisingly, many of our kids participate in team sports: we have students who play basketball, baseball, football, soccer, lacrosse, and who knows what else.

We certainly encourage our students to train with us year round.  And we try to make it as easy as possible for kids to keep their hand in, even during busy times: students are welcome to attend as many (or as few) classes a week as they can manage, at either our Merrimack or Nashua locations.  But, they are only human.  In the fall, we sometimes don't see our cross-country runners and football players at all until their seasons are over.

Then, around this time of year, we are very happy to see them back in class.  Our instructors stand ready to help them to blow the dust off their skills, and they are all set to work hard, have fun, and make progress again.

Would anyone in your family like to join them?  Feel free to visit any scheduled Independent Karate School class.  Classes in Merrimack are held every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6 pm, at the VFW near the Common Man, and all are welcome!
