Florida Man Arrested On Dangerous Drug Charge: NHSP

Christian Diaz-Vega of Kissimmee, FL, was arrested on the Daniel Webster Highway after a state trooper stopped the box truck he was driving.

MERRIMACK, NH — A Florida man was arrested this morning on an outstanding drug warrant, according to New Hampshire State Police. Christian Diaz-Vega, 28, of Kissimmee, FL, was arrested on Nov. 14, 2017, on a charge of dangerous drugs. At around 6:30 a.m. this morning, a state trooper stopped a 2017 International box truck that was along the Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack.

During the course of the vehicle stop, a passenger in the truck was identified as having an active arrest warrant out of his home state of Florida, according to Staff Sgt. Andrew Player. Diaz-Vega was taken into custody and held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections. He’ll be arraigned tomorrow on a fugitive from justice charge.

According to mugshots.com, Christian Diaz-Vega was arrested in December 2016, on a cocaine possession charge. He was sentenced in July of this year.
