Jonathan Vertigans charged with criminal mischief and criminal trespassing.

A former Merrimack man was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and criminal mischief after police say he stripped down to his boxers for dip in a pool he then defecated in.
Jonathan Vertigans, 27, of 92 Walnut St., Apt. 12, Manchester, turned himself in to police on June 16 on a warrant for his arrest stemming from the unusual incident reported June 14, police say.
Authorities were called to a residence in the Crosswoods Path housing development where the homeowner described the incident they watched unfold as a "heavy set man allegedly disrobed to his boxer shorts and entered their swimming pool."

Vertigans was arrested in May of last year in Nashua for fleeing from police when they approached his car parked at the rear of a city business, according to a report from the Nashua Telegraph. He was charged with driving without a valid license, disobeying a police officer and reckless operation, the report says.
