Four Charged After Thanksgiving Fights

Merrimack man, three sisters all arrested on assault charges.

Merrimack Police were sent to domestic disturbances on Thanksgiving night that ended up with four people being arrested.

Brandon Gallant, 30, as well as Elizabeth Barry, 23, pictured upper right, Candice Torres, 28, lower left, and Martika Torres, 26, lower right, were all charged with domestic violence on Nov. 25, 2015.

At around 10:30 p.m., officers were sent to Woodbury Street for a domestic altercation. After speaking with all the parties involved, Gallant was arrested and charged, for allegedly assaulting a family member. Police brought him to the police station for processing, according to a report.

While processing Gallant, police were called back to the home for another report of a domestic disturbance.

“On the arrival of police they spoke with everyone at the house,” according to Sgt. Ted Dillon. “It was found that three sisters had assaulted another family/household member.”

Barry, Candice Torres, and Martika Torres, were all arrested.

All four were released on personal recognizance bail and were arraigned earlier today.
