Frank's Place Takes Home 'Best of the Rest'

Our last week of voting in Round 1 resulted in the closest week yet, with Frank's Place sneaking out a one vote win over Pet's Choice.

Congratulations to Frank's Place who rounds out the 12 businesses moving on to Round 2, which begins on Monday.

There has been a slight change in how voting will go in the subsequent rounds of our tournament. Instead of a five days to tell us your favorite, you will have three days.

On Monday, we will start the second round of the contest with our first cluster of three businesses: Drapoel Salon and Spa, Swan Chocolates and Instant Ambition. You will have until Wednesday at noon to vote for the business you think provides fantastic customer service. Voting will be the same method – post a comment in the comments section on the contest page.

Then Thursday, we'll release the second poll of the week, that will be between Sal's Pizza Kitchen, South Garden and Florence's Restaurant. You will have until Saturday at noon to vote in that category.

We'll continue Round 2 starting on Memorial Day.

Make sure to come back and vote for your favorites in Round two to advance them in our Patch-tastic Four, which will be the week of June 4 and then the finals on June 11.
