Free Fall Lecture Series

This fall, Merrimack Parks & Recreation will be hosting a series of free financial lectures presented by Josh Chabot, a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones Financial.

• “Social Security: Your Questions Answered” on Saturday, September 12th from 10:00am until 10:30am in the Memorial Conference Room at Town Hall. This presentation will discuss how Social Security fits into your retirement income plan, when you should start taking benefits, and tax considerations. Registration deadline is 9/10/15.
• “College: Getting There From Here” on Thursday, September 24th from 7:00pm until 7:30pm in the John O’Leary Adult Community Center. This presentation covers questions to consider as you establish a college savings goal, savings strategies to help you reach your goal, and the features and benefits of 529 college savings plans
• “Health Care and Your Retirement” on Thursday, October 6th from 7:00pm until 7:45pm in the John O’Leary Adult Community Center. This FREE presentation is a 45-minute educational program that addresses what steps clients should take to prepare for health care costs to help ensure their retirement savings stay healthy.
• “Preparing Your Estate Plan” on Thursday, October 22nd from 1:00pm until 2:00pm in the John O’Leary Adult Community Center. This FREE 60-minute seminar is designed to help people better understand the basics of estate planning so they can consider the options that make the most sense for their specific situations.
