Merrimack Fall Festival/Merrimack Rocks has created an annual award in Dave Yakuboff's honor that will be given out on September 27th during "Merrimack Rocks". The David Yakuboff Sr. "Helping Hand Award" will be given annually to someone who is always willing to give an individual or community effort a "Helping Hand" for the purpose of helping his fellow man an making Merrimack a better place to live and raise a family.This years honoree is Dave who will be given the award posthumously with it being presented to his family in thanks for all he has done for Merrimack
Each year the award winner will be chosen jointly by Merrimack Rocks and the Yakuboff family and awarded to someone from Merrimack who exemplifies the giving, generosity and caring for their fellow man and community that Dave lived every day.
Please join us on September 27th at Watson Park as we honor Dave, the community and other individuals who have made Merrimack a great place to live
