On Nov. 10, Eric S. Driscoll was arrested by the Merrimack Police Department on a warrant charging him with: theft - taking without owner’s consent, operating after suspension and operating without proof of financial responsibility, all misdemeanor level offenses.
The issuance of the warrant stemmed from a complaint of a stolen motor vehicle filed with Merrimack Police on the morning of Nov. 10.

While handling the initial complaint and subsequent investigation, police learned that Driscoll had borrowed the vehicle on Nov. 7, but ultimately never returned the vehicle to its respective owner and could not be located. Police then entered the vehicle as stolen via NCIC.
Later on the evening of Nov. 10, police were notified that the vehicle was returned and Driscoll was questioned. Upon completion of the investigation, police drafted a warrant for his arrest.

With the assistance of Hillsboro Police, Driscoll was located and arrested without incident. Driscoll was subsequently processed on the warrant and held on $5,000 cash bail. Driscoll is scheduled to appear before the Merrimack Circuit Court on Nov. 12, to answer to the charges.
