The business owner suspected that a former employee – Davey – had allegedly been stealing money from the store.

“After a brief investigation, police interviewed Davey, and were able to confirm the shop owner's suspicions,” according to Park. “Davey was advised police would be concluding their investigation, and also told Davey she was not allowed back on the property.”

Last month, the business owner contacted police again to report “a disturbing package” in the shop’s back room. His wife reportedly found a box with flower shop clothing on the front steps of the shop along with a handwritten note, allegedly by Davey, which indicated that they were being left for another shop employee, according to the report.

Later in the day, a plastic bag filled with animal feces was aso reportedly found, allegedly left by Davey, according to Park.

Davey was arrested, processed, and released, and is due in court on Aug. 18.
