Independent Karate honors the Glorious Fourth

Happy Independence Day from everyone at the Independent Karate School!

Our hardworking instructors usually hold class no matter what, even in pretty rugged weather.  If it's 6 pm on a Tuesday or Thursday night, the art of self-defense is being taught at the VFW Post near the Common Man, to anyone who is able to come.

They do, however, make an exception for major holidays, the Glorious Fourth included.  This year, no classes will be held in Merrimack on Tuesday the 2nd or Thursday the 4th.  It's kind of like the All-Star break . . . our students and instructors will return to class the following week, refreshed and raring to go.

Of course, you don't have to wait till the Fourth of July to see the American flag at an Independent Karate School class.   If you ever come to visit, look for the American flag patches on some of our students' uniforms.  At our Merrimack classes, these patches are periodically awarded to a student who can correctly answer a question from American history.

A safe and happy Fourth to all!
