Independent Karate School does double duty October 5

First of all, let me say a big thank you to the organizers of the Merrimack Fall Festival and Business Expo, which took place last Saturday!  The Independent Karate School was glad to be there, and we greatly enjoyed connecting with friends old and new.

Onward and upward! to the next big day for our busy school.

The students and instructors of the Independent Karate School are committed to building strong communities, both individually and as an organization.  For this reason, at certain times throughout the year, we organize teams of volunteers to support specific charitable events.

In the fall, our volunteer schedule is particularly busy, as we contribute teams to two different major efforts: the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk in Nashua, and the Humane Society for Greater Nashua's Walktoberfest in Merrimack.  This year, both events fall on Saturday, October 5!

Nothing daunted, we have organized ourselves accordingly and look forward to supporting both worthy causes this coming Saturday.  If you are planning to attend either event, look for the Independent Karate School volunteers in their pale blue T-shirts.  You might not see us at the beginning of Walktoberfest Saturday morning, but we will be pitching in at breakdown time!

Curious about the Independent Karate School?  Feel free to visit any scheduled class, including our classes in Merrimack every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6 pm, at the VFW near the Common Man.  Hope to see you there!
