Intoxicated Man Harassed Woman, Pushed Cop: Report
Merrimack Police arrested Paul Turner yesterday morning for allegedly causing a disturbance at a local condo complex.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local man who was allegedly intoxicated yesterday morning was arrested after a disturbance at a local condominium complex, according to police. Paul Turner, 28, of Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack, was arrested on Sept. 25, 2016, for two counts of simple assault, two counts of disorderly conduct, harassment, and resisting arrest.

Officers were sent to the Residences condo development at just past 3 a.m. for a report of a subject involved in a physical altercation and disturbance, according to police. The man was later identified as Turner.

“While on scene, Turner was intoxicated, unreasonably loud, and conducting himself in a disorderly manner in a common area,” said Sgt. Cassell of the Merrimack Police Department. “During the course of the investigation, officers discovered that Turner had threatened to break a third party’s property, and had been calling and text messaging her in a harassing manner.”
Officers attempted to place Turner under arrest and he allegedly resisted by pulling his arms away from officers and refused to allow them to handcuff him, according to Cassell. He also allegedly pushed an officer, according to the report.

Turner refused bail and was held at the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections. He was arraigned on Sept. 26.
