The Merrimack YMCA got a visit from The W.I.L.D. Center & Zoological Park of New England during Dino Detective Week at camp and the kids met some ‘prehistoric’ animals. On site and ready for petting was “Crush” an Alligator Snapping Turtle who is only 20 years old and about a quarter of the size he will be when he reaches full adult hood (80-100 years old!). Also visiting was a boa constrictor, a legless lizard, a parrot, a taranchula and a few snakes and other species of lizards.
In the photo YMCA campers Nick Plant and Kris Pamnani are checking out "Crush."
