Reports: Police Investigating a Shooting on Joppa Road
Merrimack Police have closed the extension part of the road "indefinitely," NH AG's Office heading to the scene.
Merrimack Police have issued an alert about a road closure at Joppa Road extension reportedly due to a shooting, according to posts on Twitter.
Police are reporting that the road will be “closed indefinitely.” No other official information is available.
At just after 1:30 p.m., NH1 News reported that the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office confirmed it was heading to the area due to a shooting. WMUR-TV is reporting that the shooting happened at just before 1 p.m. Below, Don Himsel of the Telegraph posted a picture of the scene.
