Learn How to Use LinkedIn Effectively on May 21

The Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce hosts business event with Professor Robert Nadeau of Plymouth State University.

The Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce will host a workshop on Thursday, May 21, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the SVCC office to hear Professor Robert Nadeau of Plymouth State University present: “Rockin’ Linked In: Learn how to Effectively Use the Worlds’ Most Robust Networking Data Base.”

Merrimack chamber members are also invited to attend.

In this three part workshop, attendees will learn:

  1. 10 tips to improve your profile, including techniques that will resonate with prospective clients. Also develop a more consistent brand for your teams’ profiles.
  2. Increase your number of 1st connections by up to 25% in 30 days.
  3. Learn to leverage 2nd connections for warm introductions that lead to more sales.

This workshop is for anyone who wants to increase their business’ presence online, increase their sales and grow their network of contacts.

Professor Nadeau is the director of the Professional Sales Program at Plymouth State University teaching marketing, sales, and sales management. His career as a Senior Manager for a Fortune 100 company earned him multiple awards, keynote speaking engagements, and a reputation as a results-driven consultant. Nadeau is in the top 1% most viewed in the world on LinkedIn. He has facilitated LinkedIn workshops with clients like Comcast, Staples, DHL, and Ricoh as well as regional companies, and universities. In his spare time, Professor Nadeau teaches motorcycle courses for Harley-Davidson.

This workshop is part of the Chamber’s Build Your Business education series and sponsored by Edward Jones Investments. The workshop is $10 per person which includes a light breakfast and all meeting materials. Students are free with student ID. Chamber members and not-yet-members are welcome.
