Here are this month's Legislative Updates for the Town of Merrimack.

On December 7th, 2022, the newly elected legislature was sworn into office by Governor Christopher T. Sununu. The oath of office for State Representatives is as follows:
I, {name} of {town/city} do solemnly swear, that I will bear faith and true allegiance to the United States of America and the state of New Hampshire, and will support the constitution thereof. So help me God.

I, {name} do solemnly and sincerely swear and affirm that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all duties incumbent on me as STATE REPRESENTATIVE according to the best of my abilities, agreeably to the rules and regulations of this constitution and laws of the state of New Hampshire. So help me God.
Also on December 7th, 2022, the NH House and NH Senate elected David Scanlan the NH Secretary of State and Monica Mezzapelle the NH State Treasurer.
