The Governor delivered his budgetary address this morning (2/14/23) to the House and Senate. His overview consisted of recommendations for the biennium state budget. This address officially begins the legislative budget process. See Governor Sununu’s speech here starting at 3:06:

Here are just some ’24-’25 budget proposals mentioned in the Governor’s speech:
- Eliminate the consumer service tax.

- Increase base adequacy aid for all public schools by 25%.
- Increase free and reduced lunch monies by 30%.
- 10% raises for the state workforce.
- Invest $75 million in school building aid.
- $2 million for a NH based civics curriculum.
- $50 million in opioid grants.
- $5 million for a computer science initiative
- $30 million into the InvestNH program to address lack of housing.
- $27.9 million for wastewater state aid grants.

The next step in the state budget process is for the Governor to present his budget to the House Finance Committee for its review.
