Litchfield Woman Arrested for OUI, Speeding

Merrimack Police allege that Amy Wilson was drunk driving on Continental Boulevard.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local woman was arrested earlier this month for drunk driving after an early morning traffic stop on Continental Boulevard, according to police. Amy Wilson, 23, of Westview Drive in Litchfield, was arrested on Feb. 4, 2017, for operating under the influence and speeding.

According to police, at just after 1 a.m., an officer stopped a motor vehicle for speeding on Continental Boulevard. The driver – identified as Wilson – allegedly showed signs of intoxication and impairment, according to the Sgt. Cassell of the Merrimack Police Department.

“At the conclusion of the investigation, Wilson was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor,” Cassell alleged. “She was transported to the Merrimack Police where she was charged accordingly.”

Wilson was processed and released on personal recognizance bail. She is due in court on Feb. 16.
