Local Woman Charged with OUI
Lori Pirozzi of Merrimack arrested after police received tip about a possible intoxicated driver.

A local woman was scheduled to be arraigned today after being arrested for drunk driving last week.
Lori Pirozzi, 39, of Laurel Street in Merrimack, was arrested at around 7 p.m. on Feb. 18, and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and OUIL per se.
Police, according to a report, received a tip about a possible intoxicated driver at around 6:40 p.m.

The vehicle was located and after observing “several motor vehicle infractions,” pulled over by the officer.
“The officer made contact with the operator of the vehicle, later identified as Lori Pirozzi, and while speaking with her he noticed signs of impairment,” according to Sgt. Eric Marquis. “The officer continued to speak with Pirozzi and conducted an investigation which included field sobriety tests.”

Pirozzi was then arrested. She was released on personal recognizance bail but was transported to the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections and held in protective custody. She was scheduled to be arraigned today.
Back in April 2012, according to a post on Patch, she was arrested for DWI-drugs and breach of bail.
