Looking to Exchange? Merrimack Police Have a Safe Zone Now
Two parking spaces at the police station can be used for safe exchanges, with 24-hour surveillance.

The Merrimack Police Department is now providing two designated two parking spaces in the front parking lot of the police station, specifically dedicated to exchanging either children or items, according to a press statement.
Both spaces are under 24 hour surveillance with video recording. Police encourage the public to use the spaces when meeting an unknown person who you may have purchased something online from. Doing this, not only provides a piece of mind, it also deters those who may have ill intent. These spaces are also for video surveillance during child custody exchanges.
Any questions regarding the signs or use of the parking spaces can be directed to Lt. Denise Roy at 603-424-3774.
