Lunchtime Lecture Series: Lead Safety for Parents, Caregivers
Bring your own lunch and attend this FREE informative presentation to learn how to identify lead hazards in your household!

The Merrimack Parks and Recreation Department and Nashua Division of Public Health and Community Services Presents, “Lead Safety for Parents and Caregivers”. This FREE bring your own lunch workshop is scheduled for Friday, April 24th from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm located in the Memorial Conference Room at Merrimack’s Town Hall.
With some of the oldest housing stock in the country, children in New England are at a higher risk for environmental lead exposure. Lead poisoning is entirely preventable. Parents, nurses, educators and concerned citizens should attend this informative presentation to learn how to identify lead hazards and the effects it has on children. We will also discuss federal funding that is available to make homes and rental units lead-safe. Bring a bag lunch and join Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Patty Crooker from the Nashua Division of Public Health and Community Services Dept for this FREE lunchtime lecture on Winter Safety.
