Lunchtime Lecture Series: Tick, Lyme Disease
FREE Lunchtime Lecture Series on Tick and Lyme Disease Prevention

The Merrimack Parks and Recreation Department and Nashua Division of Public Health and Community Services Presents; “Tick & Lyme Disease”. This FREE bring your own lunch workshop is scheduled for Friday, May 29th from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm located in the Memorial Conference Room at Merrimack’s Town Hall.
Each year in New Hampshire, about 1,560 people are diagnosed with Lyme disease and prevention is the best approach to managing this growing public health concern. The Lyme disease prevention presentation will provide an overview of Lyme disease, common symptoms, how to safely remove a tick and tips to reduce risk at home, on the hiking trail, at work, and on your pets. Bring a bag lunch and join Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Patty Crooker from the Nashua Division of Public Health and Community Services Dept for this FREE lunchtime lecture on Winter Safety. Advanced registration is required.
