Lyndeborough Man Charged with OUI
Merrimack Police arrested Clayton Cormier after a traffic stop on the Daniel Webster Highway.

A man who was arrested for drunk driving earlier this month is scheduled to be in court this week to answer to the charges, according to police.
Clayton Cormier, 54, of Glass Factory Road in Lyndeborough, was arrested on May 22, 2015, and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, open container, and highway markings.
According to police, at just after midnight on the date in question, an officer stopped a vehicle on the Daniel Webster Highway for a motor vehicle violation.

The officer spoke to the driver, Cormier, who allegedly showed signs of impairment. After investigating the incident and a field sobriety test, he was arrested. Cormier was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on June 2, according to the police report.
