Lyndeborough Teen Arrested On Shoplifting Charge

Merrimack Police arrested Dylan Boot after an alleged incident at the Calvin Klein shop at the Premium Outlets Mall last week.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local teen is due in court next month after allegedly stealing items from a store at the mall, according to police. Dylan S. Boot, 18, of Richardson Road in Lyndeborough, was arrested on July 6, 2017, for theft-willful concealment. At just before 8 p.m. last Thursday, according to Lt. Matthew Tarleton of the Merrimack Police Department, police were sent to the Calvin Klein store at the Merrimack Premium Outlets Mall for a report of a shoplifter in custody.

The officer spoke to all the parties involved, including the alleged shoplifter, Boot.

“It was during this time that police learned Boot had entered the store and attempted to conceal merchandise in a bag, with the intent to steal said product, but was observed and detained by store employees before leaving the premises,” Tarleton alleged. “Boot was subsequently placed under arrest.”

Boot was processed and released on personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Aug. 3.
