Man Arrested After Post-Eviction Forced Entry: Cops

Merrimack Police arrested Norman Henry for vandalism and trespassing last night.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local man was arrested on charges after allegedly breaking into a residence that he was previously evicted from, according to police. Norman Henry, 51, of Wren Court in Merrimack, was arrested on Jan. 18, 2017, for criminal mischief and criminal trespass.

Police were sent to a local home at just after 6 p.m. last for a report of a subject who had forced his way into a home, according to Mptl. Stephen Wallin of the Merrimack Police Department.

“During the investigation, it was learned that Henry had been previously evicted from a home by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office,” Wallin alleged. “After being evicted from the home, Henry returned to it and gained entry through force. While doing so, he caused damage to the residence.”

Henry was later arrested on charges, transported to headquarters, processed, and released on personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on Feb. 23.
