Man Charged With Prescription Drug Possession

Merrimack Police on Friday charged a Milford man having “balance issues” with possession of prescription drugs that weren't prescribed to him.
Wayne Mosier, 33, of 52 Valhalla Drive, Milford, was charged with two counts of possession of a prescription drugs without a prescription. Mosier was allegedy observed walking down Daniel Webster Highway exhibiting balance issues. While speaking with an officer, it was determined Mosier had three different types of pills in his possession that weren't prescribed to him, police say. Two of the three pills were morphine based, police say, while the third couldn't be immediately identified and was sent to the state lab for testing.
If it is found to be another prescription drug, police say another charge will be added to Mr. Mosier’s docket.

Mosier was held for the weekend on $1,500 cash bail in the Hillsborough County House of Corrections in Manchester. He is scheduled for arraignment today, June 25, in the 9th Circuit District Court in Merrimack.

Deidre Coakley, 22, of 538 Brookline Road, Mason, for domestic-related simple assault. Coakley was arrested when police discovered two people walking on Baboosic Lake Road in the area of Woodland Drive at around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. The pair advised police that they had been riding as passengers in Coakley's car when they got into an argument with her and requested to get out of the vehicle and walk. Officers located Coakley and her car in the parking lot of the American Legion Post 98 on Baboosic Lake Road.
Police say they learned Coakley had punched one of her passengers, a family or household member, and they arrested her. She was placed on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear in the 9th Circuit District Court in Merrimack on Tuesday, June 26.
John Rasmussen, 46, of 3 Four Seasons Lane, Merrimack, was charged with possession of marijuana and transportation of a controlled drug on Friday evening.
Rasmussen was stopped by police on Wire Road near the Bedford town line for speeding, authorities say and when police approached the car, the officer could smell the odor of burnt marijuana.
After a brief investigation, police charged Rasmussen and released him on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear in Merrimack's 9th Circuit District Court on July 24..
Stephanos Papadakis, 19, of 14 Normandy Way Nashua, was charged with possession of marijuana early Friday morning.
According to police, an officer observed two male subjects in the Burger King parking-lot when despite the business being closed. When the officer turned around to check on the subjects’ one had left the area. The officer spoke to the male party still in the parking lot who was taken into protective custody for being intoxicated.
Another police officer was able to find the other male subject, identified as Stephanos Papadakis hiding in some shrubbery on Amherst Road by the old Merrimack Hotel, police say. While speaking to Papadakis, it was determined he had a small amount of marijuana in his possession.
He was placed on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear in the 9th Circuit Court District Court in Merrimack on Tuesday, June 26, to answer to the charge.
Steve Allen, 53, of 23 Meetinghouse Road, Merrimack, was arrested on a warrant stemming from June 8 on a charge of conduct after an accident.
On June 8, shortly after 9 p.m., police responded to the area of 80 Amherst Road for a two-car crash. According to information given by two of the drivers involved, a third vehicle, which had since left the scene, was the cause of the accident.
They told police the driver, Allen, had swerved into their lane. In an effort to avoid a head-on collision, the lead motorist said they had to veer away and brake, subsequently causing the driver following them to rear-end their vehicle. Allen was located and questioned by police and an arrest warrant was issued not long after, charging Allen with a conduct after an accident.
Allen turned himself in to police and was released on $750 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear before the Merrimack Court on July 24 to answer to the charge.
