Man Charged With Simple Assault for Choking Woman

The following information was provided by Merrimack Police. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

A Merrimack man was arrested for his violent actions toward a woman on June 24 during an altercation.

, 30, of 12B Star Drive, was arrested June 30 around 4:30 p.m. at his residence on a warrant for three charges of domestic-related simple assault. According to police they received a report on June 26 from a woman who said she was assaulted at the East Ridge apartment complex two days earlier.

She said Henderson had put her in a choke hold and pushed her against the wall.

Henderson was processed at the Merrimack Police Department and released on $5,000 cash bail. He was scheduled for arraignment on Monday, July 2, in the 9th Circuit District Court in Merrimack.

, 20, of 8 Joppa Road, Merrimack, was arrested Saturday, June 30, on an outstanding warrant for criminal threatening and harassment. The warrant was issued earlier in the day after Lambert allegedly sent threatening text messages to a former girlfriend. Lambert was held on $7,500 cash bail pending his arraignment on Monday, July 2, in the 9th Circuit District Court in Merrimack.

Heather Tung, 41, of 116 Back River Road, Bedford, was arrested on Friday, June 29, after turning herself in to police on a charge of criminal mischief. According to police, Tung threw a rock at a car

driven by a motorist she'd had a disagreement with. She was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear in the 9th Circuit District Court in Merrimack on July 24 to answer to the charge.
