Man Indicted on Assault, Mischief Charges

The following information was provided by the Hillsborough County Superior Court – South. An indictment is not a finding of guilt but rather supports a case moving forward to trial.

A Merrimack man has been indicted on three charges related to a domestic altercation that allegedly occurred in Merrimack on Oct. 11.

Frank Burwen, of 94 London Court, was indicted for aggravated felonious sexual assault, criminal mischief and simple assault. According to court documents, Burwen sexually assaulted his victim after forcibly removing her pants. The documents also alleged he purposefully smashed the victim's cell phone and grabbed her face, causing her to strike her head and cut it.

Angelina Gerard, of 445 Willow St., Manchester, for theft by unauthorized taking. She allegedly stole more than $1,500 worth of jewelry from a Merrimack residence between Sept. 1 and Oct. 31.

Lindsey Paglieroni, of 6 French Court, Merrimack, for two counts of forgery, and one count of receiving stolen property. According to her indictments, Paglieroni attempted to steal $200 on Nov. 7 and $350 on Nov. 10, by forging checks purportedly signed by her victim. She was also indicted for retaining a Macy's credit card, that she knew to be stolen, which was owned by the same victim.

Patricia Sewell, of 42 Amherst Road, Merrimack, was indicted for possession of a controlled drug, Lorazapam.

An indictment is not a finding of guilt but rather a grand jury's decision that there is enough evidence to support moving the case forward to trial.
