Steven Detweiler was due in court earlier this week to answer charges connected to an Aug. 11 crash.

Merrimack police arrested Steven Detweiler, 32, of Manchester, after he reportedly crashed into two other cars on Daniel Webster Highway near Daniel Webster Drive and fled.

According to police, Detweiler was charged with aggravated drunken driving and two counts of conduct after an accident. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance and was due in 9th Circuit Court in Merrimack Tuesday, Aug. 23.

Police said they received a call around 8:10 p.m. on Aug. 11 about a white Hyundai Elantra that crashed into two other vehicles. No one was hurt, but the Hyundai sustained heavy front end damage. The driver raced off, traveling north on Daniel Webster Highway, and passed an officer near the library.
