Manchester Man Violates Protective Order: Cops
Matthew Raymond was arrested by Bedford Police yesterday after allegedly committing the violations in Merrimack.

MERRIMACK, NH — A Queen City man was arrested yesterday after allegedly coming within 300 feet of and attempting to call a victim with a protective order, according to police. Matthew G. Raymond, 46, of West Mitchell Street in Manchester, was arrested on Oct. 17, 2017, on two counts of violation of a protective order. At around 11:15 a.m. yesterday, officers were sent to the Merrimack District Court for a report of a protective order violation.

“Upon arrival, the investigating officers spoke with the victim and learned that Raymond had violated the protective order by coming within 300 feet and attempting to communicate with the victim,” Sgt. Raymond was arrested by Bedford Police and then turned over to Merrimack officers. After processing, he was held without bail and transferred to the Valley Street Jail. Raymond was arraigned earlier today.
