Manchester Woman Caught Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road: Cops

Merrimack Police: Shannon Winslow was arrested this week after an alleged incident on Continental Boulevard.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local woman was arrested after allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road after leaving a local gas station last week, according to police. Shannon Winslow, 25, of Pearl Street in Manchester, was arrested on Feb. 24, 2017, for operating after suspension and operating a motor vehicle and without financial proof of responsibility.

According to Lt. Ted Dillon of the Merrimack Police Department, at around 9 p.m. on Friday, an officer reportedly saw a Chevrolet Malibu pull out of the Gulf Station on Continental Boulevard but driving on the wrong side of the road.

“The officer identified the operator as Shannon Winslow and discovered her license to drive in the state of New Hampshire had been suspended by the Department of Motor Vehicles for failure to pay a fine,” Dillon alleged. “It was also learned that Winslow was operating without proof of financial responsibility.”

Winslow was arrested and processed. She is due in court on March 30.
