According to police, at just before 1:30 a.m., an officer stopped a motorist on the DW Highway for a speed violation. Just before the stop, dispatch had received a complaint about the same motorist “driving in an erratic manner,” according to Lt. Matthew Tarleton of the Merrimack Police Department.
“While speaking with Kennedy, he showed signs of alcohol impairment,” he noted. “Upon further investigation, police determined that Kennedy was driving while intoxicated and he was placed under arrest.”
