Mass. Woman Arrested for OUI in Merrimack

Police arrested Jessica O'Connell of Woburn after a traffic stop on Saturday morning.

MERRIMACK, NH — A Bay State woman is due in court later this month after allegedly driving drunk in town, according to Merrimack Police. Jessica O’Connell, 27, of Hovey Street in Woburn, MA, was arrested on Sept. 10, 2016, and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.

According to police, at just before 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, an officer stopped a 2007 Mazda MPV on Baboosic Lake Road for a motor vehicle infraction.

“When the officer spoke to the above driver, Jessica O’Connell she did display signs of alcohol impairment,” according to Lt. Ted Dillon of the Merrimack Police Department. “After a brief investigation she was placed under arrest for O.U.I.L.”

O’Connell was processed at police headquarters and released later that morning on personal recognizance bail. She is due in court on Sept. 20.
