Meet & Greet: Ruth Hinde-Moura

The new school year is right around the corner and in addition to new students at the schools each year, there are always new teachers, staff and administration to welcome to the fold.

We wanted to help welcome them to the Merrimack school community by introducing new teachers, staff and administration to you before or as the school year begins. We have invited new hires or people who've stepped into new roles in Merrimack's School District to introduce themselves to the community. First up is Ruth Moura, the new school nurse at Reeds Ferry Elementary School.

Where you live/are from: Hollis

Family info: Married with three children: two 13-year-olds and an 11-year-old.

Education: I am a graduate of Fitchburg State College with a Bachelor's of Science in nursing. I am also a certified school nurse.

Prior teaching or school-related experience: I worked as a school nurse at Hollis Primary School for 6 years.

Favorite thing about working with students at the age level you're working with: I love working with this age group because they always find a way to make me smile.

What you're looking forward to the most in 2012-13 school year: I look forward to getting to know the students and staff members at Reeds Ferry School and forming a nice working relationship.

What you love to do when you aren't at school: When I am not at work I enjoy my family, running, and cooking.
