Menu Planning! Do you know what's for dinner?

I am addicted to Pinterest. I love scrolling through what my friends pin and searching for whatever whim comes across my mind. Mostly those whims include food. And Pinterest is a PLETHORA of great recipes - some more reasonable than others. But, I get lost there. I spend hours looking for the perfect thing for dinner that night. Then, I go back to a staple in a hurry. Yum, Spaghetti and Meatballs it is! I ran out of time to make the awesome thing I was searching for. It's ok though, I probably don't have the right ingredients in the house, anyway.

Does this sound like you? Or are you even too busy to search Pinterest and you just don't have time to make a new dinner every night? Either way - Menu Planning can help you. Here are some reason why you SHOULD be planning your meals out!

1. Saves your SANITY.
Dinnertime approaches and you don't have to dodge the "What's for Dinner?!?!" question from every member of your household. You'll know with out skipping a beat. No longer answering with, "What do you want?" or "When I know you'll know!" You can even post your weekly menu on the fridge - making the answer there for everyone to see for themselves!

2. Saves you TIME.
After everyone asks about dinner do you find yourself scrambling to get something together? Do you find yourself going to the grocery store numerous times a week to pick up something? NO MORE! With meal planning you can go to the store once a week and get everything you need.

3. Saves you MONEY.
While you're at your weekly visits to the store you will have a list with you of exactly what you need to buy for that week's meals. No more impulse buys!

4. REDUCES waste.
If your not impulsively buying items - especially ones that are perishable - then you aren't wasting them when you don't use them! WIN/WIN

5. Make HEALTHIER choices.
No need for delivery pizza or that fast food drive through. You've got a meal planned with ingredients you have chosen. (This also circles back up to saving money!!)

So what's stopping you from planning your meals every week? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
